Presentation skills are very important for company executive, managers, government employees, teachers and professionals. Public speaking is a challenge for many people. Like the old saying goes, “People would rather be in the grave than make a presentation.” Many time lack of presentation skills make employees bypass promotions, and business owners bypass business opportunities as they found them self unable to give presentation. Some managers who were on the corporate fast track quickly become derailed as they could not complete there presentation in front of senior management.
So what are the trick great speakers uses to prepare themselves to be great presenters? They prepare their minds to give a great presentation. That’s the trick; it all starts in your mind. How can you develop a great speaker’s mindset and start giving outstanding presentations? I am giving you some presentation skills secrets for overcoming your fear of public speaking and making outstanding presentations :
Have Faith in Your Self
I have seen many people who say that they can’t speak in public, they are bad speaker they could not speaker in public. For those people I will say they really can’t. You need to learn one thing if you say no then you can’t succeed. A positive speaking attitude is one of the first things one needs to work on during presentation coaching. Replace the negative speaking attitude with positive attitude which say “I will do it” to master your self talk and improve your presentation skills.”
When you make positive affirmations, your subconscious mind hears it and says, “I will do it” you got the feeling “Yes, I am improving,”
Think About Your Goal You Want to Accomplish
Ask yourself, "What do I want to accomplish with my presentation?" Do you want to persuade, entertain, or move the audience to action? Once you have these answers, work to develop your presentation to achieve these goals. May be you just wants to speaker in front of Public? Or “I just want them to listen to me.”
You must think about your goal you want to achieve. What you want to accomplish by giving your presentation. Is it that you want to entertain the audience, do you want to persuade them on an important issue, or maybe you want the audience to take action after hearing your presentation. Going into your presentation knowing what you want to accomplish creates focus and is a big confidence builder.
Keep it Simple and Start With an End in Mind
Don't be overwhelmed with information overhaul. Keep your presentation clear and concise by focusing on main points. It will help you in saving time when collecting your backup information. Always start you presentation with the end in mind. A good end to a presentation is equally important as a good start.
Own the Room
Whenever you speak, “own the room.” Think that for next half an hour you own the room. The corporation, association, or government may own the building or venue you are speaking in, but during the time you are speaking, you are the owner of the room and the audience will be my guests, my friends. That way you are always in control to give an outstanding presentation.
Think The Audience as Individual
It is the same when you “digest” the audience. Don’t think of the audience is a whole, think of the audience as individuals ready to hear your message. Concentrate on thinking of your audience as individuals, and your message will come across that way to the individual audience members.
Follow these secrets for overcoming your fear of public speaking and creating a positive mindset for confident public speaking. Presentation skill secrete will help you overcoming your fear of public speaking will improve your presentation skills and create new business, career, and life opportunities for you through presentation skills.

Public speaking has been a long-time fear of mine. Years ago I forced myself to get over my fear. How did I do it? I took on a challenge to teach the bible on a regular basis to a large group of women who were in jail. I was terrified, but I made myself put aside my own insecurities and I focused on what they needed. After awhile I became used to it and it wasn't that bad anymore. That doesn't mean I'm completely over my fear...but I know I can tackle the challenge if I need to (or have to). One thing that helped me was to concentrate on allowing confidence to fill my voice, even if I didn't feel it. After awhile the confidence that I exuded became a reality.

Hello sister, to be honest - let me tell you that I feel I am a very bad speaker. Really !! Infact, this is just contradiction to what I enjoy most - writing. I've been working very hard on my verbal communication skills. I hope I can be a good speaker too and ofcourse, a good public speaker:)
