Maybe so but I have seen many positive comments regarding this. Many people have found their backlinks increased on technorati after doing what has been written in this post:)

Hi Aswani. This is a nice initiative and I wish you mush success. The only reason why I will not join this initiative is because I had a bad experience once with this kind of tagging. While I am sure you are not one of them, there are people who will "pretend" that they are in the list and then, down the road, they will simply delete the post and it will cause all kinds of "URLs Not Found" from the engines. I hope that poeple who join this initiative with you do not do this. Good luck and wish you a great weekend, my friend.
