Truly inspiring quotes from Oscar Wilde

One thing I must say very honestly is that I love quotes especially inspirational ones. I like to read a lot of them and I also make sure that its brings a positive change in my life. I've witnessed the same in recent past. I follow a very simple rule - Read and Apply. Yes, this is what I've been doing for long. To just read and not apply in your lives, doesn't make any sense to me. Believe me, we can learn a lot from such quotes and make our life much better than what it seems to most of us. These inspirational quotes can teach you a lot and help you grow into a good human being, if and only if you are serious enough to apply it to your lives. Needless to say, these quotes are meant for individuals and professional alike.
So as to inspire you today, I have tried to come up some of the best quotes from one of the the finest writers of his generation, Oscar Wilde. Oscar Wilde possessed an honest voice and uncanny wit that made people sit up and listen. For many years, people were spellbound by his work and now its your turn to get motivated and inspired.
Below are the fewest but some of the most inspirational quotes from Oscar Wilde -
1) “Anyone who lives within their means suffers from lack of imagination.”
This Oscar Wilde quote is telling you to aim high. Never settle for what is “just there.” After all, how else will you improve your quality of life when you’re simply sticking with what is “just there.” What happens when you finally run out of what is “just there?”
This quote demands that you make something more of your life. Use your imagination to come up with say, more ways to earn additional income.
2) “Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth.”
This Oscar Wilde quote explains that you cannot always trust people by what they say about themselves. Some people would always try to beef themselves up and make themselves look good in the process.
Instead of just taking their word for it, why don’t you do a little digging around yourself? Ask common friends about this person. If you want to be successful, it’s good to be aware of the values and behavior of the people you’re dealing with.
3) “Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.”
Once you are successful, you can’t help but make enemies. According to Oscar Wilde, you should not give such trivial matters any importance. The more attention you give to your enemies, the more distracted you’ll become and the happier they will be.
In situations like this, the best thing to do would be to ignore them. Besides, ignoring them is blatantly sending them the message that they’re not really worth your time. In the end, isn’t that the best revenge of all?
Well, I think these are some of the most meaningful quotes I've been through in recent times. Truly inspiring ! Must read for those who need a little wisdom in their lives. Hope you like it.

I agree with 3rd quotes. I don't pay attention to those kinds of people. For me those people are not happy with their life and maybe they need to get a life. Sorry my bestfriend if I didn't get to visit you lately. I've been so busy. Sometimes it's tough to be a wife, a mom, taking care a father and trying to earn some penny. :) I do appreciate you so much for always supporting how I write in my blog. Regards to your family and be safe always. stay healthy

Hi Sam, very rightly said. Yes, one should never waste time on such people. Better to ignore. bty, I can understand that you are very busy. Even I am :(

Awesome quotes indeed Aswani and when applied, has a great and huge impact on our everyday lives. #3 is definitely the best possible defense (or attack) when handling problems with "enemies". Forgiving and ignoring diplomatically what they have to say is by far the most important weapon on your arsenal to deal with these issues. Great post bro

My favorite is quote number three. It's something that always drive your detractors a little crazy- that they don't figure at all in your thoughts. Here they are driving themselves into a frenzy thinking how gross, how uninformed, stupid you are and yet it doesn't matter to you at all. They're just that insignificant gnats. 8-)

These are really great ones aswani and regards to number three about forgiving the enemy some one once said "hating your enemy is like burning your own house to get rid of a rat" thanks for sharing

I like the 3rd quote as we must not waste our time on those people who don't matter to us. I personally follow this in my life.
