Do you like Kit Kat? I think most of us like it. Well, for those of you who don't know about Kit Kat, let me tell you..Kit Kat is a very popular confection produced by a well known brand, Nestle. It is produced and sold worldwide by Nestle.

Now..to be very honest, I've never been so fond of Choclates or any other confection as such. I take it occasionally. But I see most others especially, small kids and teenagers crazy after such things. That's ok but do we realize one important thing - The behind story of Kit Kat - I mean what actually goes before it gets available to people like us?

Well, even I myself could not think of it before I came across this write up. Yet another, startling revelation by the Greenpeace India team. Kit Kat, Deforestation and Climate Change...very hard to imagine..but have a look at this write up below..will make you think surely..

Dear Aswani,

Did you know that India is now the world's largest importer of palm oil, used by major brands in edible and cosmetic products? And that palm oil is causing horrific deforestation in Indonesia?

So when a company like Nestlé asks you to take a break by having a Kit Kat bar, that Kit Kat bar may be involved in the destruction of rainforests.

Kit Kat often contains palm oil from companies who are cutting down Indonesian rainforests, speeding up climate change, threatening the livelihoods of local people and pushing orangutans towards extinction.

Watch this hard-hitting new video while you take that break, then pass it on to others :
