The recent demonetization move in India is a welcome decision from our PM. While I am in full support of the same, I also agree that there are problems arising from the same. Even I had to suffer a little because of this but I prefer using digital payment for any kind of financial transaction either small or big. In the past, Digital Payment may not have been feasible with local vendors who lack technical know how but that has all changed with eWallet.
What is eWallet?
To put it simply, eWallet refers to the digital wallet. eWallet is basically an online prepaid account where users can stock money and use it anytime as per their need. Having such online prepaid account makes it easier and quicker for buyers to buy a range of products from airline tickets to grocery without actually swiping a debit or credit card.
Below is a graphic explaining how an eWallet system works on websites which provide eWallet services to their customers.
eWallet offers several benefits. The best of all is the ease of use offered to the customers.
- No need to enter debit/credit card details every time and heck no more delay with online payments.
- No limitation as such. You can start with a minimum deposit of Rs.10.
- No boundaries. Use all your money for your use or transfer it to your friends, family, etc..
- No declines. Unlike other online payments which gets declined for any reason, eWallet transaction is never declined.
