I never quite like to have HR Manager around as they are too preoccupied with their authority and they tend to bully people including even their own superiors! Organization is getting flatter these days or rather less hierarchical and i believe HR guy can be become redundant in no time. The private sectors nowadays tend to subcontract out their work functions and organization tend to focus on work groups to get the job done. Employees tend to be recruited on a contract basis and remuneration is based on units of work performed. The issue of working overtime and on sundays or public holidays should not be an issue, what on issue is to get the job done within a stipulated period of time and the agreed in advance reward awaits at the end of the period. So bye bye HR guy....!
