Huawei Nova 3 Sale on August 22 for Prime Members; Available for Direct Purchase on Amazon from August 23

Huawei Nova 3 will make its foray into the Indian market through an exclusive sale on Amazon India. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that Huawei Nova 3 will be on sale from August 22 for Amazon Prime Members only, while others can make a direct purchase a day after, that’s on August 23. Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i smartphones were launched in India last month, and the Nova 3i was made available in flash sales on Amazon India. Much similar to the Nova 3i in terms of physical features and other aspects, Nova 3 wins on the processor, camera and battery. It comes with the Kirin 710 processor, a dual camera setup at the back and 3750mAh battery

The smartphone makers have delightedly shared the success of both the Nova 3 and Nova 3i back in home country and in India too Huawei Nova 3i has been a bestseller on Amazon. The company has sold over 2 million units within a month’s time since the release.

Huawei Nova 3: Specifications & Features           

Similar to the Nova 3i, the Nova 3 features a 6.3 inch IPS LCD display with a notch, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, a full HD+ resolution and an 85% NTSC colour gamut. On the Nova 3, there is latest octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor competing with Snapdragon 845 and powered with a Mali-G72 GPU coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable via micro SD card (up to 256GB). The dual-SIM Nova 3 functions on EMUI 8.2 atop Android 8.1 Oreo.

In terms of photography, the Huawei Nova 3 bears four cameras, a vertically aligned dual-rear camera and another dual-camera setup on the front. The rear camera includes one primary 16 MP RGB sensor and another 24 MP monochrome sensor with PDAF and f/1.8 aperture. Users get to enjoy features like portrait mode, slow motion and 4K video shooting at 30fps.

The front dual camera comes with a 24 MP primary sensor along with f/2.0 aperture coupled with a 2 MP secondary sensor. The front camera comes with 3D Qmoji, similar to the popular iPhone X’s Animoji. The phone also has AI scene recognition and other software enhancements. It also gets a fingerprint sensor at the back and supports a face unlock feature.

The Nova 3 is powered by a large 3750mAh battery that measures 157×73.7×7.3mm and charges fastly. On the connectivity front Nova 3 supports 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2 and USB Type-C.

The Nova 3 is an improved and powerful variant in the latest Nova 3 series of Huawei. The launch price of the smartphone will be INR 34,990. The smartphone will be exclusively offered through direct sale from Amazon India. The pre-bookings have been closed for now and can be purchased directly from August 23 starting 1pm onwards.

The Huawei Nova 3 will be available to Amazon Prime members on August 22 starting 12 Noon onwards. The smartphone will be available in India in Iris Purple and Black colour variants. The phone will be available only with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
