It is my second week with Asus ZenFone 5 and I cannot stop raving about it. Like I had already discussed a lot about it in one my previous postings here, I am continuing with the same today by focusing on the user experience part, a thing which is valued most these days. Frankly speaking, user experience is everything. One should never compromise on the same. Luckily for me, it hasn’t been the case here with any of the product or services which I have used till date including smartphone. It does not mean that I haven’t faced any issues as such. Most of the times, I have had user experience issues with a software program which I run on my PC especially if I am running it for the first time.
Anyways coming back to the Asus ZenFone 5, the phone offers wonderful user experience. From running apps to browsing internet, it is a sheer pleasure. I could hardly notice lag in the performance of the device. Though I rarely play any game on a mobile device, I still spent some time playing Angry Birds and I was simply delighted. I ended up playing Angry Birds for hours. So was the case with other high end games like Asphalt8 and Riptide GP which I decided to install and play on the device after suggestion from some of my friends. Unlike me, most of my friends are hardcore gamers and so they know it all better. I did notice some heating issue while playing some of the games especially with the high end games. Though it is a very minor issue, I still hope it is fixed soon before it begins to clog user experience.
Listening to the music was another fabulous experience on the device. Being a music enthusiast myself, I did enjoy spending sometime listening to my favorite tracks in the music player which came pre-installed with the device. The default music player app came with a built in equalizer which I played a little to find the desired musical experience. I set it to Rock and wow…what an amazing experience though I have to admit, the sound could have been a little better. I am not complaining about the sound quality but it is the low sound output which was a little turn off atleast for a music freak like me.
Now watching videos in the device, I have absolutely nothing to complain. The phone being a HD device delivered fabulous video experience both while shooting and watching the same. I haven’t shot too many videos but whatever I have shot till date, I find it pretty satisfying. Currently, I am working out on how to edit and create movies using the pre-installed movie maker app from Asus.
Well, it is not over yet. There’s still a lot to share about the Asus ZenFone 5. In the final followup of this post, I am going to focus on the user experience as blogger. Hope bloggers would enjoy reading it. Till then keep visiting this blog for more exciting updates. Also, feel free to share your views in the comment box. Will be really appreciated.
