Spend Less and Get More With CENTRiC L3 Smartphone

Few days back, I had reviewed CENTRiC  A1 smartphone. We had seen how CENTRiC A1 excelled in each and every department making it ideally the best budget phone in the market today. Continuing with the review again, today I will be discussing about L3 smartphone, another exciting offering from CENTRiC.

Centric l3 android smartphone

CENTRiC L3 is a nice looking smartphone offering good specs for less. Having spent ample time with the handset, I can assure you that the phone feels pretty premium in your hands. I had the same feeling after using it for a week. Very difficult to tell if it was a budget device or an expensive handset. The difference was minimal.

Also, I love Android Nougat. It truly enhances your mobile user experience. I could experience it in L3. Also, I could find some brand specific apps like CENTRiC Store and CENTRiC Care. Top Doctors Online was another unique app I came across. Looked pretty useful to me.

Anyways, let’s delve deeper into the device and find out what separates it from the rest. As usual we will be discussing about the build quality, hardware specs, camera, etc.. So, here we go!

Premium build quality

As already stated in the previous paragraph, the phone feels very premium in your hands. You don’t actually find such quality with budget smartphone but CENTRiC  L3 has gone a step further with the build quality is which is well supported by metallic body with great slimness making the device a real treat for eyes. And at just 143g, the device feels so easy to hold and operate. Doesn’t feel bulky like branded competitor smartphones Nokia 2 or Moto C Plus which weighs more than 150gm.

The fingerprint scanner also works like charm. Unlike most fingerprint scanners which are located on the top rear side of the device, the fingerprint scanner in L3 is located on the front side of the device. It doesn’t make much difference other than knowing exactly where to put your finger to unlock the device.

Engaging multimedia experience

The 5 inch screen @ 294 PPI results in a very engaging multimedia experience. Even the sunlight legibility is very good in the device. What you badly miss in the device is DTS which stands for direct to sound. DTS technology produces remarkable sound as experienced in modern theatres. In L3, the sound quality is good enough to enjoy multimedia and related stuff.

FM radio and sound recorder works really well.  Gallery is another good addition to the device software. In L3, you can easily access your images in a gallery and edit them as you would want by applying filters and other image effects. I liked it!

Good Camera

Well, L3 camera lets you click good images which can be shared on social media, whatsapp and related places. The camera options are pretty much the same as seen in any smartphone. The 13 MP camera  in L3 offers a lot for a casual photographer like me. From normal images to panoramic images, the L3 camera lets you capture anything with ease and comfort. There are several scene modes from auto to candle light which makes it easier for you to shoot the type of image you need. Plus the predefined color effects lets you give artistic touch to your images before shoot.

If you are a selfie lover, you won’t be disappointed as the 5MP rear camera does a good job. The face beauty mode is another highlight of the camera software. Once activated, it makes beautifying your images easy and fast with options like wrinkle removal and whitening which can be easily edited under camera settings.

Coming to the video quality, the device lets you shoot 720p HD video which is quite ok. You can easily set the video quality under video settings depending upon your need.

Below are sample images and video shot from CENTRiC  L3 –

Good hardware configuration

Well, the CENTRiC  L3 specs is centered around Mediatek MT6737 Processor and 2GB RAM which works together to offer good hardware performance clocked at 1.3 GHz. The 16 GB of internal memory space may be enough always and so you get an option to increase memory upto 256 GB by using an external SD card. Great….Isn’t it? This looks better than other competitor smartphones like Nokia 2 or Moto C Plus where expandable memory is limited to max 128GB.

CENTRiC L3 supports 4G, VoLTE and ViLTE along with the usual options of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Good Battery life

The 3050 mAh, Li-ion Battery is enough to run your phone for a day on basic usage including gaming, playing music and web surfing. L3 doesn’t support fast charging so it takes some time to get it charged completely. The good thing is that you can charge the device using any serial usb charger without depending upon the original charger that ships with the device package. That really helps!
